Our workshop

Everything that we do at Surrey Hills Cycleworks is centred around the workshop. Bikes we sell go through the workshop, parts we sell get fitted in the workshop, and after-sales servicing work happens in the workshop.

We offer three bookable services that are pitched to satisfy what work is needed on most of the bikes that we look after. We can also offer a tailored approach if you are looking for some customisation on your bike.

What will it cost?

  • Tune-Up

    • 1 hour of workshop time
    • Does your bike need a check-over?
    • Has your bike been unused for a while and you would like an expert to check it is safe?
    • Would you like a service assessment of your bike?

    PRICE: £50

  • Service

    • 2 and a half hours of workshop time
    • Do you use your bike regularly?
    • Does your bike creak?
    • Would you like us to get your bike running smoothly and quietly again?
    • We believe that a 'service' for a bike incorporates the following: Drivetrain removed, front fork removed, wheels removed, all moving parts inspected, cleaned and lubricated correctly, worn and broken parts replaced as needed (parts are an additional cost)
    • We believe that this is the level of work that is needed to 'service' a bike, a bike is not serviced unless all moving parts are inspected and adjusted.

    PRICE: £125

  • Premium Service

    • A whole day of workshop time
    • Is your bike your pride and joy?
    • Would you like a mechanic to spend the whole day stripping your bike down and re-building it?
    • We take the stress out of wondering if your consumable parts on your bike need to be replaced, they are included in the cost.
    • Included in this service cost is the price of the following parts where appropriate: Brake pads, All brake and/gear cables, handlebar tape/grips, tubeless tyre sealant, Suspension fork/shock lubrication oil, brake fluid, all greases and lubricants.
    • We use Shimano polymer coated cables
    • We use genuine parts, as fitted at the factory for your brake pads etc.
    • We include a quality handlebar tape/grips of your choice and colour.
    • Included in this cost is a brake bleed, suspension fork lower leg service and rear shock air can service if applicable
    • Drivetrain parts are an additional cost

    PRICE: £300
