Surrey Hills Cycleworks is an independently owned bike shop in Leatherhead, staffed by passionate cyclists and situated in the beautiful Surrey Hills. Born out of the long respected Cycleworks, Dave Farmer took over the shop for his own in late 2016 with a view to continuing not only the 'bricks and mortar', but also to build a friendly, cohesive local cycling community along with other local retailers.
Dave is a fanatical cyclist, having ridden and raced many different styles of bike over the last twenty plus years. Currently Dave rides to work daily, and fits MTB and road riding in around a busy work and family life.

Andy joined the team back in 2016 after spending a few winters teaching skiing in Switzerland. He's ridden a bit of everything from MTBs to BMX’s, then got heavily into making road and TT bikes go fast. Recently he's turned his hand to racing Cyclocross and from what he's been saying, might not turn back!

David
Sales Representative
David has been with us for since early 2017. He is the shop's resident mile muncher and has a wonderful skill of being able to “scriv” a bike, this means to wear things out, then keep riding, and ride some more, and then some more. Keep on going until it stops working completely. He just loves riding so much. Having ticked off sportives such as the Etape Du Tour, full Paris Roubaix and Tour de Yorkshire, David has set his sights higher with a bid to complete the 2022 edition of the Pan Celtic Race, an Ultra-endurance event covering a 1573 mile lap of Ireland!

Russ has been riding for his whole life, racing downhill mountain bikes during the nineties (beating Dave long before they knew each other). He now rides a hard tail through the surrey hills at a pace that will keep up with most riders on 6″ travel suspension bikes. Russ also rides his road bike daily, flat out!
